Taxonomy
Cancrinelloides minimus was named by Ganelin (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 2834/347 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Krivoy Creek, Levyy Kedon River, which is in a Roadian marine horizon in the Omolon Formation of the Russian Federation.
