Hajarispongia whaleni
Taxonomy
Colospongia whaleni was named by Senowbari-Daryan and Stanley, jr (1988). It is not extant. Its type locality is Spring Creek, Hells Canyon, which is in a Lacian perireef or subreef limestone in the Martin Bridge Limestone Formation of Oregon.
It was recombined as Hajarispongia whaleni by Senowbari-Daryan and Link (2011).
