Taxonomy
Guaymayenia paramillisensis was named by Rusconi (1946). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Uspallata, Agua de la Zorra, which is in a Triassic lacustrine mudstone/siltstone in the Agua de la Zorra Formation of Argentina.
