Taxonomy
Haplistion hadrum was named by Hurcewicz (1982). It is not extant. Its type locality is Hyrnefjellet, Hornsund, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Kapp Starostin Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.
