Taxonomy
Magnicapitatus huazhangae was named by Sone (2010). Its type specimen is NIGP 139380 and is a mold. Its type locality is Khao Makha, which is in a Capitanian open shallow subtidal packstone in the Khao Taa Ngog Formation of Thailand.
