Cylindrobullina dorsetensis
Discussion
Diagnosis. Shell slender conical, with acute spire and slightly convex whorls; oblique subsutural ramp demarcated by spiral furrow, without edge; a second spiral furrow is present on the ramp; weaker spiral furrows cover whorls and base; these furrows are separated by wide interspaces.
Taxonomy
Cylindrobullina dorsetensis was named by Gründel et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MG 1434 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Thorncombe Sands, Dorset, which is in a Margaritatus marine horizon in the Beacon Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
