Ardeosaurus brevipes

Taxonomy
Homoeosaurus brevipes was named by Meyer (1909). Its type specimen is NHMUK R38006 (cast of lost type), a skeleton (Near-complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wintershof Quarry, Eichstätt, Solnhofen, which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Ardeosaurus brevipes by Cocude-Michel (1963), Mateer (1982), Estes (1983).
