Plagiaulax becklesii
Taxonomy
Plagiaulax becklesii was named by Falconer (1857). Its type specimen is BMNH 47731, a mandible (partial right mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mammal Bed, Durlston Bay (DB83), which is in a Berriasian marine horizon in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Plagiaulax.
