Chulsanbaatar vulgaris
Taxonomy
Chulsanbaatar vulgaris was named by Kielan-Jaworowska (1974). Its type specimen is ZPAL MgM-I/39, a skull (skull with mandible and well-preserved teeth, lacking zygomatic arch and basicranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khulsan (general) [PMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian eolian sandstone/sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Chulsanbaatar.
