Catopsbaatar catopsaloides

Osteichthyes - Multituberculata - Djadochtatheriidae

Taxonomy
Djadochtatherium catopsaloides was named by Kielan-Jaworowska (1974). Its type specimen is ZPAL MgM-I/78, a skull (complete skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khermeen Tsav I, Red Beds [PMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian eolian sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.

It was recombined as Catopsalis catopsaloides by Kielan-Jaworowska (1974), Kielan-Jaworowska and Sloan (1979), Clemens and Kielan-Jaworowska (1979); it was recombined as Catopsbaatar catopsaloides by Kielan-Jaworowska (1994), Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2002), Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004).
