Taxonomy
Miritubus erinaceus was named by Botting (2005). It is not extant. Its type locality is Llandegley Rocks, which is in a Llanvirn shoreface sandstone in the Builth Volcanic Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Miritubus.
