Taxonomy
Cyathocrinus virgalensis was named by Waagen (1885). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Virgal, red marly beds, Middle Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
