Stacheoceras antiquum
Taxonomy
Arcestes antiquus was named by Waagen (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kufri, road from Shahpur to Sukesar Mountain, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Stacheoceras antiquum by Reed (1944), Bogoslovskaya (1990), Leonova (2002).
