Paranautilus peregrinus
Taxonomy
Nautilus peregrinus was named by Waagen (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khura, compact limestones, Middle Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Paranautilus peregrinus by Reed (1944) and Kummel (1953).
