Tainionautilus wynnei
Taxonomy
Nautilus wynnei was named by Waagen (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khund Ghat, Upper Productus-limestone, Salt Range (Wynne coll), which is in a Changhsingian marine limestone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Foordiceras lynnei by Hyatt (1893); it was recombined as Metacoceras (Tainionautilus) wynnei by Reed (1944); it was recombined as Tainionautilus wynnei by Kummel (1953).
