Taxonomy
Kolymia dickinsi was named by Waterhouse (1979). Its type specimen is CPC 3912 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Caparay Ghar Section A, Bed 5, Wardak, which is in an Asselian marine sandstone in the Wardak Formation of Afghanistan.
