Tomiopsis confusus
Taxonomy
Ambikella confusa was named by Waterhouse (1968). Its type specimen is NZGS BR 593, a valve (Ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GS6323, east tributary of Letham Burn (D44/f9672), which is in a Roadian marine horizon in the Letham Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Tomiopsis confusus by Waterhouse (1987).
