Taxonomy
Neocamptocrinus millyitensis was named by Webster and Jell (1992). Its type specimen is CPC27054, a calyx, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is QML772, Millyit Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Hardman Formation of Australia.
