Taxonomy
Conwaymorrisispongia bengtsoni was named by Kozur et al. (2008). It is not extant. Its type locality is Horse Gully, which is in an Atdabanian carbonate limestone in the Kulpara Limestone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Conwaymorrisispongia.
