Taxonomy
Orthothetina yuananensis was named by Ni (1977). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yangjiatang, Maokou Formation, Yuan'an County, which is in a Roadian/Capitanian carbonate limestone in the Maokou Formation of China.
