Kuehneotherium praecursoris
Taxonomy
Kuehneotherium praecursoris was named by Kermack et al. (1968). Its type specimen is NHMUK (formerly BMNH) M.19165, a tooth (left upper molar crown), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pontalun Quarry (St. Bride's Island), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian fissure fill limestone/marl in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Kuehneotherium.
