Taxonomy
Scaphiomanon hadros was named by Gutschick and Perry (1959). It is not extant. Its type locality is Locality 2. Milligan Canyon Section, which is in a Famennian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/shale in the Sappington Formation of Montana.
