Taxonomy
Seisia trachyneritoides was named by Yin and Yochelson (1983). Its type specimen is GQ81074 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sizishan KC278, Qingyan, which is in a Ladinian marine dolomite/limestone in the Falang Formation of China.
