Taxonomy
Linoproductus popowi was named by Zavodowsky (1968). Its type specimen is TsGM 65-70/8234 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Popovka River, volcanic tuffs, Kolyma Basin (Simakov, Shevchenko coll), which is in an Asselian marine tuff in the Bugali Formation of the Russian Federation.
