Longmenshanoceras plicatum
Taxonomy
Longmenshanoceras plicatum was named by Zhao et al. (1978). Its type specimen is NIGP 14980 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mao'ertang Section, Dalong Fm, Shangsi, Guangyuan County, which is in a Changhsingian deep-water siliciclastic in the Dalong Formation of China.
It was recombined as Tapashanites plicatus by Leonova (2002).
