Taxonomy
Rotodiscoceras langdaiense was named by Zheng (1981). Its type specimen is NIGP 34453 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Heilajia Section HP37-6, Langdai County, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
