Propinacoceras toumanskayae
Taxonomy
Propinacoceras toumanskayae was named by Leonova (1989). Its type specimen is PIN 3591/204, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kuru-Dzhilga River, Sample 132/7a, Pamir Mountains, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Kyzyldzhilga Formation of Tajikistan.
It was synonymized subjectively with Propinacoceras asiaticum by Zhou and Yang (2005).
