Taxonomy
Anthinocrinus brevicostatus was named by Gluchowski (1993). Its type specimen is GIUS-4-107, a stem (columnals + 2 stem fragments), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gora Jozefka Set A, Holy Cross Mountains, which is in a Givetian platform/shelf-margin reef limestone in the Kielce Platform Formation of Poland.
