Bernardodon atlanticus
Taxonomy
Bernardodon atlanticus was named by Hahn and Hahn (1999). Its type specimen is PP MULT 120 (holotype) and paratypes, a tooth (right m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Porto Pinheiro, Lourinha, which is in a Kimmeridgian estuary/bay marl/mudstone in the Lourinhã Formation of Portugal. It is the type species of Bernardodon.
