Hantzschel 1975Regular calyx-shaped depressions; smaller ones similar to impression of lower part of very large hazelnut; inner walls smooth; “calyx” 15 to 40 mm in diameter, 5 to 15 mm in depth; 2 or 3 small circular depressions on the bottom representing outlets of filled burrows, 2 to 5 mm in diameter.
