Atoposaurus jourdani
Taxonomy
Atoposaurus jourdani was named by Meyer (1850). Its type specimen is MHNL 15679, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bugey, Cerin, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in France.
