Taxonomy
Schyschcatocrinus delicatus was named by Gluchowski (1993). Its type specimen is GIUS-4- l46/1, a set of stem ossicles, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gora Zamkova, unit C, which is in a Givetian reef, buildup or bioherm bafflestone/bindstone in the Kowala Formation of Poland.
