Taxonomy
Uskardita mikraulax was named by Ratter and Cope (1998). Its type specimen is BGS GSM 22187, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Craig y Garcyd, River Usk, Monmouthshire, which is in a Wenlock marine shale in the Wenlock Shale Formation of the United Kingdom.
