Karatausuchus sharovi
Taxonomy
Karatausuchus sharovi was named by Efimov (1976). Its type specimen is PIN 2585/1, a skeleton (Complete but poorly preserved skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aulie, Mikhailovka, Karatau [PIN Loc. 2585], which is in an Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Karatausuchus.
