Pietraroiasuchus ormezzanoi

Taxonomy
Pietraroiasuchus ormezzanoi was named by Buscalioni et al. (2011). Its type specimen is PC-1, a partial skeleton (An almost complete articulated skeleton exposed in ventral view), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Civita di Pietraroja (upper plattenkalk), which is in an Albian basinal (carbonate) mudstone/wackestone in Italy. It is the type species of Pietraroiasuchus.
