Nannosuchus gracilidens

Taxonomy
Nannosuchus gracilidens was named by Owen (1879). Its type specimen is NHMUK 48217, a skull (Skull and partial mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beccles' residuary Feather Bed marls, which is in a Berriasian/Berriasian terrestrial marl in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Nannosuchus.

It was synonymized subjectively with Goniopholis simus by Joffe (1967); it was recombined as Goniopholis gracilidens by Salisbury (2002).
