Taxonomy
Gasterocoma bicaula was named by Johnson and Lane (1969). It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM 160178 (dorsal cup). Its type locality is Lone Mountain Locality #556, which is in a Devonian marine limestone in Nevada.
