Taxonomy
Eucalyptocrinites inchoatus was named by Philip (1961). It is not extant. Its type specimen is M.U.G.D. 3404, a calyx. Its type locality is Old Toongabbie Marble Quarry, Lower Quarry, Marble Creek, which is in a Siegen carbonate limestone in the Toongabble Limestone Formation of Australia.
