Pholidosaurus schaumburgensis
Taxonomy
Pholidosaurus schaumburgensis was named by Meyer (1841). Its type specimen is IMGPGo 741-1, a set of vertebrae (Natural mould of part of thorax), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Harrl quarry, Bückeburg, which is in a Berriasian terrestrial sandstone in the Bückeberg Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Macrorhynchus schaumburgensis by Koken (1887), Perrier (1928).
