Taxonomy
Ceratites schrenki was named by Mojsisovics (1886). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 135/11137 and is a 3D body fossil.
It was synonymized subjectively with Keyserlingites middendorffi by Kummel (1969); it was recombined as Keyserlingites schrenki by Bychkov et al. (1976); it was recombined as Olenekoceras schrenki by Dagis and Ermakova (1988).
