Kyphosichthys grandei
Taxonomy
Kyphosichthys grandei was named by Xu and Wu (2012). Its type specimen is IVPP V10108, a skeleton (complete specimen), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Luoping biota (IVPP collection), which is in a Pelsonian carbonate lime mudstone in the Guanling Formation of China. It is the type species of Kyphosichthys.
