Kaninochonetes kaninensis
Taxonomy
Kaninochonetes kaninensis was named by Afanasjeva (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 4900/1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cheshskaya Inlet, Sample 120, Nadtei River, Kanin Peninsula, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Kaninochonetes.
