Taxonomy
Paramentzelia ovata was named by Xu (1978). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mojiang, Leshan Couny, which is in a Lacian marine horizon in the Kuahongdong Formation of China. It is the type species of Paramentzelia.
