Taxonomy
Dictyonathyris lanaensis was named by Xu (1978). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lanashan, Batang County, which is in a Norian marine horizon in the Lanashan Formation of China.
It was recombined as Oxycolpella lanaensis by Williams et al. (2002).
