Taxonomy
Danubites glaber was named by Vavilov (1969). Its type specimen is KIGLGU 321/2 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsvetkov Cape, eastern Taimyr (KIGLGU coll 321), which is in an Aegean/Bithynian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
