Taxonomy
Linwuceras hunanense was named by Xu (1977). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shamuchong, Qixia Fm, Linwu County, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Qixia Formation of China. It is the type species of Linwuceras.
