Shengoceras simplex
Taxonomy
Waagenoceras simplex was named by Zhao (1955). Its type specimen is NIGP 7459 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fei'eling, Xianggui railway, Fenghuang, Laibin County, which is in a Capitanian marine shale in the "Kufeng" Formation of China.
It was recombined as Kufengoceras simplex by Xu (1977), Zhao (1980), Bogoslovskaya (1990); it was recombined as Shengoceras simplex by Leonova (2002).
