Kufengoceras umbilicatum
Taxonomy
Waagenoceras umbilicatum was named by Zhao (1955). Its type specimen is NIGP 7464 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sifangtang, Liujiang County, which is in a Capitanian marine shale in the Kufeng Formation of China.
It was recombined as Shengoceras umbilicatum by Zhou et al. (2000), Leonova (2002); it was recombined as Kufengoceras umbilicatum by Bogoslovskaya (1990), Ehiro (2008).
