Liuzhouceras shengi
Taxonomy
Waagenoceras shengi was named by Zhao (1955). Its type specimen is NIGP 7465 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boheling, Sirong Village, Liujiang County, which is in a Capitanian marine shale in the "Kufeng" Formation of China. It is the type species of Liuzhouceras.
It was recombined as Kufengoceras shengi by Xu (1977); it was recombined as Liuzhouceras shengi by Zhao (1980), Leonova (2002).
