Taxonomy
Chinacrinus xinjiangensis was named by Lane et al. (1997). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boulongour section, Lower Member, "Marly" beds, which is in a Famennian marine siltstone/shale in the Hongguleleng Formation of China.
